------ About the album Rocket To Russia performed by The Ramones

The First Punk Band makes the Best Punk/Pop Songs you'll ever hear!
Give a listen to Cretin Hop, Locket Love, Sheena is a Punk Rocker,
Ramona, or Rockaway Beach and you'll hear some of the catchiest songs ever written by a band that was often imitated, but never duplicated.
The Heart of Joey, Soul of Dee-Dee, Brawn of Johnny, and Brains of Tommy
really shine through on their 3rd LP. Released in 1977, this spawned
two near-top-40 hits that got FM airplay, and earned them a spot on Don Kirshner's Rock Concert. If you only buy 2 Ramones Albums, it should be this one along with their self-titled debut from 1976. Enjoy!
