Review about The Navy Song General Topic/ My Oppinion | Reviewer: T34GU3xD | 10/27/09 The song is generally about someone's view on a military ship that was shot down while he was trying to save it and everyone on it died. But one little problem with my oppinion is the first verse/stanza. It sounds like the "you" and "her" words in the song are ship itself. 1, because he was trying to save her, and 2, because what else would you do when your on a ship in the rain but hold on to something. I don't like songs from Kanye West and Katie Perry or Lady Gaga because they don't have meaning. This song is about something. White Sparrows is about death. Sympathy is about being independant, and not pitied. Pocketful of Dreams is about being unafraid of something when you can have something in return, and not being too greedy.
