Reviews about Up The Bracket
What an Album !!!!! | Reviewer: Chris O'Connor | 3/7/2008
I first heard about Pete in the news and it wasn´t exactly about music that they were talking about.I found him quite interesting, although sad in a way.Someone who was supposed to have bag-fulls of talent throwing his life away by drug abuse. Then, in an article published in Rolling Stone magazine,I kept on finding out more news on Pete and a guy named Carl Barat.I thought to myself, " why all the fuss about two unknown blokes ??". In the review of "Up the Bracket", the album in RS was given a five star rating, so I got the album and since then I don't listen to anything else.I think it's a brilliant album and even my wife who is more into dance music loves it.She especially likes "The good old days" which is infact my favourite tune, rroo.
If anyone reads this one day and hasn't listened to the album, then get it ASAP and you will see what the fuss is all about !!!
who cares about the title? | Reviewer: michael cribb | 7/31/2006
This album is in a way the best out of the two, the energy and rawness is so reasuring and really shows the talents of pete and carl. The song "horrorshow" is my favorite3 pete song because it goes everywhere and he shows his unpredictable style of singing
