The Last Time He Saw Dorie Lyrics - Copeland
Review The Song (3)
He's in love with tragedy, in love with tragedy
She was a wreck, but he loved her
She was a wreck, but so was he
And the last time he saw Dorie, he didn't know what to say
"Thank you because you loved me,
It's all on me cause I didn't want to stay, I didn't want to stay..."
Live, live, live, live because you
Love, love, love and love will make you
Give, give, give and give in when you
Break, break, break but you just want to
Fix yourself just to break again...

This song is probably the best song on earth! Love because you love, love will make you give, give in when you break and break when you want to fix yourself to break again. This song has to do with everything you go through..this song tells the truth about how someone is feeling.

this song is so beautifully written. this song can relate to anyone in any situation. when he says live because you love and love will make you give to me its just saying an all basic picture of life toward your friend your wife, girlfriend, God, and everything you do. thats why i love it :)

How has no one commented this yet? This is such a beautiful song. The way I relate to it is in this line, "Thank you because you loved me,
It's all on me cause I didn't want to stay, I didn't want to stay..." For me, it reminds me of how I had this one boy who loved me, really loved me, and I only kept him around so I could be cared about, while not feeling the same towards him. I think a lot of us do that, we have this gentle indifference towards someone. Copeland captured it so beautifully.
