This year is different than last,
and all of the Christmas has past,
the carolers singing and sleigh bells are ringing,
but there's still one thing I must ask.
Please don't leave.
There's still presents under the tree.
It's you, you, you I need.
The fireplace is cold and dry,
the wind whistles through trees on this cold winters night.
As you tell me we've shared out last
there's just one thing that I have to ask.
Please don't leave,
there's still presents under the tree.
It's you, you, you I need.
A Christmas Story is on the TV,
Randy is showing how the piggies eat.
And I'm laughing through the tears,
that was our movie for all of these years.
Please don't leave,
there's still presents under the tree.

Review about The Last Christmas Meaning | Reviewer: Mary | 11/28/2007
This song has a lot more meaning to me than most do, just becuase of things that have happened in my past.
My boyfriend and I broke up last year on Christmas Eve, and it was the worst holiday season I've ever experienced.
This song is beautiful and very touching.
Emery's talent continues to shine through in any song they do.
