This band is absolutely amazing. My friend Josh showed them to me, after he heard that I love Panic! at the Disco. They sound a bit similar to me, or maybe I'm crazy. Anyway, this group is amazing. I love them.

Greta's voice is amazing.

I love the contrast of the siren and her lover's story with the girl and her lover's. It's hauntingly beautiful. The impending disaster of the burning city is relayed suspensefully. Their only safe haven turns out to be not so safe after all.

This song is marvelous. I tend to listen to a song about three times and know the lyrics by heart, but not with this song nor anything else by the Hush Sound. Their musical quality is so haunting and it just encompasses you and doesn't even allow you to experience anything except the purity and beauty of the song. I downloaded A Dark Congregation and found that in three days it was already halfway through my Top 25 Most Played list. Similarly, for the song Wine Red, I sat down with it on the subway and grimaced for three minutes. It's so beautifully encompassing, and although it's not a really "hardcore" song, the louder you play it the better you can feel the emotion. This band is so great that I sometimes get heartburn from listening to them for too long. This song specifically, Magnolia, is beautiful and haunting as most of their music is, and even after reading the lyrics it took a few minutes to develop a sense of what it meant. I love the way the lyrics are not entirely cryptic but still symbolic and poetic. They're colorful and wonderful, and I'd say this song, this album, this band even, gets a five out of five rating from me.

i think this song focuses on husband-wife relationship or live-in partners... its where the girl is left in the house and the guy just get back home and sleep. I mean theres no quality time for them both to share. just my POV. Indeed a great song

So I was at a party, and I was literally the ONLY person who had never listened to this band. So, I went home and downloaded a couple songs that I remembered. Pretty soon, I found myself singing along, loving the band, downloading the rest of the CD and reccommending them to my friends. This band is amazing.
