The GC5 Lyrics
Formed in the basement of a nondescript home in Mansfield,
Ohio in early 1996, the members of The GC5 set out with the
same goal as so many of their predecessors - to beat the
boredom of everyday life through rocknroll.
Over the course of a couple of 7"s, a number of shows, and
a move to Cleveland, the boys continued to refine their
sound, influenced by the drive and urgency of late 70's
British Punk, Chuck Berry guitar riffs, and the melodicism
and bitterness of Elvis Costello, with a working-class
