The exies, their name inspired by the philosophically dour existentialists, were created in 1997 in Los Angeles. The band's sound molds late '60s British Invasion pop with futuristic wall-of-sound guitars. The band recorded their debut LP, the exies, at the legendary Reflection Studios in Charlotte, North Carolina with producer Steven Haigler (Oleander, Quicksand, Fuel). Featuring singable melodies, gripping chort progressions and some fancy guitar effects, the exies' 11-track debut is a surefire, hook-filled knockout.

I was able to witness first hand The Exies last night. They were on a tour Bad Boys of Rock. I really like The Exies sound. I am deffinitely goin to buy their cd. They are awesome, and i hope more people will see how awesome a band you guys are!

I think the exies are one of the newer bands that have a new sound that is diverse but is also consitent throughout their debut cd. I cant wait to hear what kind of music they pump out of thier sophmore album. Thanks guys for an awsome sound and i hope you get the recogintion you deserve.
