The exies, their name inspired by the philosophically dour
existentialists, were created in 1997 in Los Angeles. The
band's sound molds late '60s British Invasion pop with
futuristic wall-of-sound guitars. The band recorded their
debut LP, the exies, at the legendary Reflection Studios in
Charlotte, North Carolina with producer Steven Haigler
(Oleander, Quicksand, Fuel). Featuring singable melodies,
