Gods love for us | Reviewer: Alexandria Kendall
------ About the song Louder Than Thunder performed by The Devil Wears Prada

"I don't think I deserve it; selflessness. Find your way, into my heart." From a Christian point of view, I believe that we don't deserve selflessness from God even though God gives it to us. What this lyric means, it that God gives us His love, compassion, mercy, and forgiveness. We are hurtful cruel human beings that do nothing but torture people. Yet, God still shows us His mercy and love and forgiveness. The only person who is Selfless is, Jesus Christ.

------ About the song Reptar, King Of The Ozone performed by The Devil Wears Prada

Prada likes using song names that have nothing to do with their music.Mike Hranica is a genius at his lyrics and to me, this song talks about how we are destroying ourselves, but no one says it. self infliction(affliction)
"dont attempt to justify what we know is wrong" is like dont cover up the truth with lies, which our own government has attempted to hide things from us, and people we see do the same. we know its wrong, why not say something about it and do something?

------ About the song Sassafras performed by The Devil Wears Prada

Im almost sure its burning branches
The song is called Sassafras wich im pretty sure is a tree or some form of plant
The album is called with roots above and branches below
And the song clearly says branches and it says in the lyric booklet

------ About the song Sassafras performed by The Devil Wears Prada

I'm pretty sure its "burning branches"

The title of the album (and the screamed part after the chorus) says "With roots above and branches below." This refers to having lives rooted in Christ/God, and having that affect our actions in our daily lives.

So earlier in the chorus, "burning branches" refers to our tendency to worry only about our actions and not the internal state of our hearts that really controls how we act. If we are rotten people inside, we can try to stop bad habits (burning branches) all we want, but that won't change who we really are. We have to address what our hearts are rooted in.

------ About the song Danger: Wildman performed by The Devil Wears Prada

Hey well i agree on what you said mostly except that its a lot deeper than that. The ghost is referring to the Holy Ghost and when Mike says and when doubted his truth reveals incredible vengeance he is referring to the followers who doubt God. There is a text in the bible that says that God loves his true followers accepts those who don't believe in him however those who are "warm" believers (The hypocrites we all know. Theres always one or more at church) he will puke them from his mouth. This song refers to those individuals those warm believers. God hates them and will shame them. Do not doubt God because he will wreak his vengeance upon you. Oh and the reason that he says when worded correctly truth is never a cliche this is because so many are attached to their deaf ears he means that the scriptures we are read at church are only cliched because of how they are worded and if worded correctly like God worded them that would not be the case and well people hang on to what they want to hear in other words they are deaf to the truth think about it man and you will see what I mean.

it doesn't matter. | Reviewer: Alexander

in honestly think it says 'if all w know is burning bridges,' but the again, the only way we'll know for sure is if one of us asks them for ourselves. but until then there's no point i debating it. just scream it as you please. ^.^

REPTAR RULEZ | Reviewer: \m/
------ About the song Reptar, King Of The Ozone performed by The Devil Wears Prada

Like someone else said, its basically destroying our environment, and reptar is awesome!!! Duh, why not use reptar? Although their song names are funny and dont seem like they mean anything, they all have some kind of meaning you could pull out and relate to the lyrics. Maybe im going to far but with HTML Rulez d00d i thought that the HTML or code related to the music video where the old man is killed for whatever scientific practices he was performing. There was a code that stated those practices were illegal, so he was killed. The next part, rulez d00d, could be sarcastically saying it rules but that really these codes of killing have created "MOUNTAINS COMPOSED OF TOMB-STONES…"

Just because the band is religious, doesn't mean every single song they put out is about God or religion. So calm down. Just listen to the music and enjoy it. I think it can be interpreted in many different ways.

But, yeah. The clean vocalist for this band is sooo ace.

------ About the song Louder Than Thunder performed by The Devil Wears Prada

I think this song is (whether religious or not) about quesioning humanity.

"What would it take for things to be quiet?" When I hear that line it's as if he's trying to figure out why there is so much chaos in the world which roars as loud as thunder at him.

"All stars could be brighter.
All hearts could be warmer." Means to me that humans can be kinder to each other, things can improve in terms of people's kindness to each other.
