The Cribs In The Belly Of The Brazen Bull Album
In the Belly of the Brazen Bull is The Cribs' fifth studio album, released on 7 May 2012. The Cribs announced the album title and track-listing on 14 February 2012, along with several UK and North American tour dates in support of it. The majority of the album was recorded at Tarbox Road in New York with Dave Fridmann. The four-track suite that ends the album was self-produced at London’s Abbey Road, and "Chi-Town" came from sessions at Chicago's Electrical Audio with Steve Albini. Fridmann also handled the final mix. Sessions were originally undertaken in summer 2011 at Mountain Studios, Montreux with Queen producer David Richards, but were later shelved. The first single released from the album was "Come On, Be a No-One", on 23 April 2012. Upon release it entered the UK charts at number 9, becoming The Cribs second Top 10 album. From Wikipedia |
