One of the most popular Darkwave bands on the planet, the
Crüxshadows started in the early 1990's in a little town in
North Florida. Numerous lineup changes over the years have
not slowed down the quartet. Touring the United States
extensively from Coast to Coast, they have played hundreds
of shows to American Audiences in the last few years. In
the Spring of 2001, the Crüxshadows began touring Europe
and have since played over 75 shows abroad, in countries
like Norway, Scotland, Ireland, England, Belgium, The
Netherlands, Poland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and
Spain. In the Spring of 2002, the Crüxshadows saw the
single Tears camp at #2 on the Deutsch Alternative Charts,
and their European festival shows have drawn audiences as
large as 10,000 people to a Crü More...

------ About the song Sophia performed by The Crüxshadows
the human animal is a beautiful and terrible creature, capable of limitless compassion and unfathomable cruelty. if you wish to find that which becomes the dividing line between mankind and other biological classifications, it rests not in brain size, dominance, or even emotional capability, but lies in the unique capacity for human beings to reflect on their actions and show regret, what is most certainly the ability to empathize, that gives them their position. all animals understand love and affection, but only man shows the propensity to place himself into the shoes of another lifeform. losing this capability, among individuals of this species, reduces them below their much heralded position, and readies the climate for the likely fall of man, the fall from grace
Review: The song is very interesting.

------ About the song Defender performed by The Crüxshadows
This is my special song now; it totally speaks to my experiences with someone I love. The Cruxshadows are an amazing little band; I wish more Christians like myself wouldn't be quick to judge them because of their 'goth' styling.

------ About the song Sophia performed by The Crüxshadows
If I had made something as beautiful as Sophia and gotten "omg u guys are awesomem" as a review, I would hate the world. This is such a beautiful song, and the first time I heard it I was stunned. I had heard a lot of Crüxshadows before, but this one topped it, and I felt that horrible feeling of simply craving something, the album. so, I'm off to spend more money I don't have..

------ About the song Love And Hatred performed by The Crüxshadows
This is the first CXS song I heard, and the best in my opinion. It is arguably the best album they have released. I reccomemd it. ^^
Thought this is a short song, the sound of Rouges powerful tenor voice makes it burn into you like the fire stolen from the gods and gifted to us.
so great | Reviewer: falling_skies
