Danny Smith, from Pickering, Ontario, Canada, had been
writing and recording songs at home on a 4-track for years
before he landed a leading role on the TV show Big Wolf On
Campus (he is also an actor who has appeared in numerous
films and other television shows). He wrote and performed
the theme song for Big Wolf, which was the very first time
he stepped into a professional recording studio.

Danny used the money he had earned from the first season of
Big Wolf to record a 12-song album titled Not Now and Not
Later. This album featured beautiful backing vocals by Lisa
Loeb, which were recorded in the world-famous Capitol
Records building in Los Angeles.

While still on hiatus, he shopped the record around Los
Angeles and met with all of the major labels. He also
