This song, it never held a meaning for me until now. My girlfriend and I started off great, did everything together and loved eachother. After a month, I moved but soon realized I wanted to come back to her. It's been nearly 3 months and I'm about to go back to her, just to have her tell me she doesn't feel that way anymore. She said she still loves me, but not the way she wants to. She's ignoring everything we loved, over looking what we've done. We loved every second of what we had, but now she thinks it just can not be anymore. I feel dead inside...

I love chiodos, they are one of my favorite bands. This is my absolute favorite song. It explains how I feel. I'm miserable and I used to be a drug abuser before I met this girl Christina. I helped her get over a relationship and through each others hardships we've grown to love each other. its the worst feeling loving soneone and wanting to be with them but not being good enough for them. Now she's with somebody new and its killing me to have to constantly think about her and that guy. I just want her to be happy. So I guess ill have to suffer while she's happy and I'm completely fine with that because one day she might be mine.

To me this song came up when i was having a hard time with my girlfriend of 1 year and i found out she cheated on me and we broke up but i love her and she says shes sorry and wants to be with only me but this song makes me think about how its the best idea to let her go and forget about her but also the worst because im letting go and forgetting about someone i love very much

Fuckin awesome song to start with. As for the meaning, yeah it could mean that they love each other and just have a problem committing to each other or have something in their way or something else along those lines. My personal opinion is it sounds like they just want to have a perfect moment. They met, they hit it off, and they just want to just drop everything and walk away having a perfect moment together.

Actually, he os quite talented. Emo-ish or not Chiodos has fucking amazing talent. Probably a lot more than the bands you listen to and call hardcore. I think Craigerys vocals on this song are facinating. bloody fantastic actully.
But basically the meaning is pretty simple:
they are in love, but its dying because its a long distance. the man who was in her life before him is consuming both of their thoughts and she's backing out. she feels alone even tho they are together. he wants all of her and he isn't getting it.

personal experience reins for me with this song. i really like this guy, deeply and he's said that he likes me too. we've known each other for almost 7 months now, never went out, just hooked up and i just got a boyfriend (not the guy). the guy and i hung out recently and this song just describes the whole situation so perfectly like as we walked away from each other...it felt like we were just leaving it, forgetting each others names, what we said, what happened, everything. and it hurts, because i still really care for him

i say they just couldnt take each other anymore like they whrere getting in eachothers nerves so the broke up but after that they realized that they couldnt live with out each other but it was too late cuz they couldnt do shit about it.
