The Chemical Brothers Lyrics
Since they first met a decade ago, the Chemical Brothers
have been on a mission. Their aims: to find the sounds no
one had heard before, to push their music as far as it will
go, to make each record fresher and more exciting than the
last. And from "Song To The Siren" in 1992 to the
brain-blitzing mutant psychedelia of their third album,
Surrender, that's what they've done. On the way they've
invented (and transcended) big beat, toured the globe,
remixed the world and his brother, soundtracked some of the
messier nights out of the More...

------ About the song The Test performed by The Chemical BrothersIm not being offensive, but the chemical brothers probably use drugs. Where do you think they got their name? but that explains the acid test. but the chemical brothers are awesome.
That's what she said | Reviewer: AnotherKentPaul
------ About the song One Too Many Mornings performed by The Chemical BrothersI'd say the lyrics of HER singing are: "Ear. Give me now", or "Here, you may know." - And he replies "Restart. or "Please stop hiding.", "You have control."
And maybe they're easily looking for each other.
:D | Reviewer: Galvanized
------ About the song Galvanize performed by The Chemical BrothersI'm not a hardcore fan of the Chemical Brothers-but this is definitely an amazing song of theirs! I remember first hearing it at a restaurant when I was 10, and ever since I've been looking for the song-and I found it! Amazing how it just gets people moving like the lyrics imply-Don't watch the world move, don't sulk around and don't mope, but move yourself!
AND PUSH THAT BUTTON!
Acid Test Origins | Reviewer: Anonymous
------ About the song The Test performed by The Chemical BrothersThe original 'Acid Test' had nothing to do with acid, it was from the California Gold Rush in the second half of the 19th century. Gold doesn't react to most acids, but does dissolve in a mixture of hydrochloric and nitric acid(s).
To confirm that a find was real gold it was given 'the acid test'.
Acid Test | Reviewer: Nando
------ About the song The Test performed by The Chemical BrothersAn 'acid test' determined whether someone could cope with the psychological demands of taking LSD. But in this case, I hear this as the acid test of life itself. I don't think it refers to drug use at all.
One Too Many Mornings | Reviewer: Sergio
------ About the song One Too Many Mornings performed by The Chemical BrothersIt is true that many people hear so many different things, but to me the female voice says " Dear you may go on" and the male voice says " Please Stop hiding you have control. That's my opinion.

------ About the song Close Your Eyes (Feat. The Magic Numbers) performed by The Chemical BrothersI realise its late in the game for me to be playing catch up, but im young and thats what im trying to do and tonight i found this song and I was just frozen in my seat by the music and lyrics! I completely envy anyone that got to see this live! I just pray some day i might get too...But I definately will get to see The Chemical Brothers live and im hooked now, past the point of no return!
i love this song. | Reviewer: jambii
------ About the song The Test performed by The Chemical BrothersIt might not be so much as the "acid test" specifically, so much as a journey through a hallucinogenic experience in general. Seeing things you've done before in a new light, while seeing the other things in life you haven't before, then recognizing that your trip will fade-- and learning to accept life as a whole, in a relative, comparative way, depending on one's past and hopeful future. I think the term "acid test" was thrown in there as a sort of metaphor to each and every trip, to simulate the feeling of whatever drug it may be referring to.
Or, in a sober context (if possible), feeling like your life is out of control and finding serenity in the least likely place possible.
The music video for this song is actually really great. I suggest any fans of this song check it out asap.
