I see the sun begin to rise
And I'm blinded too
I've seen the world through jaded eyes
that I'm crying through
I've watched the darkness hypnotize
And confinded
Hold on I'm falling
Can't breathe anymore
An ocean has opened
These scars need to heal over
Caress the needle prick in my skin
The tears fell like rain
I've rode the Phoenix as she glides
And I've gone insane
I've seen the light of suicide
And I'm dying
Hold on I'm falling
Can't breathe anymore
An ocean has opened
These scars need to heal over

Review about The Burning Red Wow. | Reviewer: HawK | 1/30/2008
i hadn't heard the song in a while and forgot about it, and it just came on earlier and now i can't help but listen to it.
amazing song, but then, i'd expect no less from Rob Flynn.
Great song. Love the emotion.

This song makes me feel the same way Fade To Black does. It's just so emotive. It's heartbreaking! I can't listen to it without feeling like I'm about to well up. It's a wonderful song!
An amazing song | Reviewer: slayer | 12/6/2007
I've loved Machine Heads music for a long time and I think this song has the most feeling in it out of all of them and is one of there best in my eyes
This song is so beutiful and sad at the same time.
I cant stop hearing it again and again and again and...
Def a favorite | Reviewer: Souleh | 8/22/2007
Im in a Machine Head cover band and this song is definatly one of our favorites to play, it has so much feeling and emotions but is inevitably a very tragic song, its hard to come by a song so beautiful in my opinion.
Heart-rending | Reviewer: Asphyxos | 7/6/2007
Arguably the best closing track in a metal album. Shows the exhaustion, solitude of Robb Flynn, an emotional side that is naturally absent from the thrashier songs. Brilliant.
the best | Reviewer: Anonymous | 5/14/2007
