Listen to this song again, you'll hear that Joey does a great job at keeping the rythm, not just at OD'ing on bass pedal. Like there's no build to their songs, no climax, just ------. And the drumming has a lot of really good double bass pedaling and stuff but there is just no 'funk'...their drummer just doesn't feel the groove as well as bonham (and this is coming from 16 year old), and some of the other great drummers who really knew what it was about, not just speed on a double pedal. But slipknot is still pretty good, just nowhere close to greatest band.. (IMO!!!)
