    This album by the Gurls, as die-hard fans call the Bangles, is full of hope for a 'renaissance' in pop music. The songs ae arranged to sound quite garage in the melody and guitar work. It set the pace for an all-girl band that knew what direction to take and maintain that garage sound to all the future songs by the Bangles. A must for every true pop/garage fan.
