I am older (from before rock and roll) I have discovered how to find songs on my wife's computer and save them. I like classical and bad,bad rock and roll. Not much for ballads. This song however, I play at least twice a week. The music beat, the lyrics, the incredible backup all come together to make a classic rememberance. I like this song.

I was about 12 when this song came out. It's power took hold of me then and has yet to let me go. Beautifully composed, intriguing, engaging and surprising. To me, one of the best love songs ever recorded. One we can all feel, I'm sure. It's impossible not to feel something, many things, when you listen to "Isnt it time".
I agree, The Babys were seriously underrated.

I'm currently going through an difficult & very complicated relationship. My situation is similar to the one in this song though it's coming from an opposite angle. I've decided to move on from my partner, whom I love deeply but keeps hurting me. This song is so relevant to my situation; the lines which says "I feel a warmth in my heart that I never knew," " This love affair gives me strength" & " everything seems alright," answered everything I needed to know - sadly, this isn't happening in my relationship. This song answers all my questions, doubts & uncertainties in a nutshell. Thank you Jack Conrad & Ray Kennedy for such a marvellous & meaningful song.

This is one of the Greatest songs by an Underrated band that started three successful careers. John Waite with The Babys doing Isn't It Time is a classic I was not born yet when the song came out. I still think it's a great song.And I am 32 years old for the record.

Heard on Radio 2 Drivetime last night. I had forgotten what a great and powerful track this is. From the 1970's, this track seems to be ignored on all the compilation album of the time - cannot understand why.

Listen and realise that late 70's music was not all rubbish.

I wanted to say thank you for one hell of a hook in the chourus. I was just thinking how the structure of the song reminded me of the Whitfield penned "I'm losing you" recorded by the Temptations and then I read your words and memories about Ray and your song and just smiled when you both thought it would be a great song for the Temptations.
