Well I have to say that I love this song. I heard it when I was a teenager. And I can assure you that the lyrics didn't make me want to go "spreading myself around" or to "get boys". It is just a song and if there are actually kids out there who are that easily influenced by it, then it's the parents responsibility to talk to them!

I agree that there are some very offensive, degrading and vulgar songs out there that shouldn't even exist, but this is certainly not one of them!

Thank God I am a capable parent and can influence what my children listen to. Pity so many parents will allow their children to listen and watch this rubbish. Oh yeah, it's cool - I understand, I too was young and we had our pop stars then also. Just so happens, most of them weren't singing crap lyrics and behaving like this. In fact, lots of songs we listened to as kids are being rewritten and re-sung by young folk today - and they are hits all over again. Britney, it's sure great to be yourself, but if you're hitting the spotlight and obviously pulling the young crowds - do the parents a favour and teach some good habits and ethics. This way you will encourage the introverted and earn the respect of your elders and likely end up with a far greater following. And from a marketing perspective, this following will be with you as they grow up, grow older and grow sense! Good luck girl!

Britney has really been working hard, and like many before me said-- Its great that she's coming back. I mean, really, she's human and she's young: Whats the deal? Are you telling me that teenagers in general don't make mistakes? Are you saying that humans are perfect and flawless? That celebrities are some brand of a Perfect Race? You've gotta be kidding me.

Another thing: Britney tries her hardest and does her best. She tells the public about her problems and everything in her songs. She keeps herself up and keeps going forward despite all the bull going on around her. To be blunt, she's really strong especially with everyone assuming things, gossiping, doing despicable things and looking at her with narrow eyes.

Brit is one of the only real people left out there in Hollywood. She does what she wants and because of that people look down on her. she's the only one who has the balls to be real and stand up for what she believes in/live how she wants to. Yeah, she's had problems, but we all have. Why is it so bad if she makes a mistake when tons of other people do everyday of their life?
