My lover, companion, significant other, only one, my wife, of not quite seven years, use to sing this song and White Flag just before she died of cancer 3 months, 3 days and 9 hours ago. I was in denial and too obtuse to realize it was about us. Damn, I really miss Her!!!She was the greatest person in my life. No matter how bad it gets, don't forget to tell your other half how much you love them!!!Life is too short.

I am having this song played for my family at my cfreamation.(God forbid any time soon) but I want to let my family know how much they meant and mean to me and that no matter what gores wrong (death) for instance that they were thanked for being there no matter the situation. ESPECIALLY for my hyusband and my 3 sons. Dido has done an excellent job with the wording and getting by in a life of crisis. I am also having played "May It Be" by Enya get the lyrics and listen or read them.....once again, they are ment to heal broken hearts in times of sorrow and pain.

I thought something weird. I thought when I heard the song on the radio is was about a woman talking to a man about his inadequateness. We hear those ALL THE TIME. I liked it once I listened to it more.
