You can tell throughout the whole thing but esp. when she says "love is not boastful, love is not loud" and also "nothing compares to the love that was shown when our lives were spared." There's really no other way to read those two lines. Throughout the song, in my interpretation and Catholic way of viewing the Trinity, she is asking God to tell Him she loves Him and needs HIm. As in, God, tell Jesus I love Him and need Him. A deep soulful and love "about a man" song is "Nothing Even Matters." These are my two favourite songs ... ever.
