Tegan & Sara Lyrics

the ever-present possibility that friendly bickering may
suddenly erupt into bloodshed, and rockin' pop songs that
will blindside you as surely as a soccer Mom in an SUV
yakking on her cell phone. Ladies and germs, please welcome
Tegan and Sara.

All joking aside, Tegan and Sara - who finally came of
legal drinking age last year - were very serious when it
came to making If It Was You, the follow-up to their 2000
U.S. debut This Business of Art. "It feels like the first

------ About the song Divided performed by Tegan & Sara

I heard from someone that this is about Sara :3 In the live version from Get Along it sounds A LOT like Tegan says 'Sara' instead of 'she's out on the highway...' Still a great song, one of my faves :D

the song is about when you have feelings for someone but that person has feelings for someone else. and to stop trying to interpret and analyze everything they say to the point where you just don't even hear what their really saying.

------ About the song The Ocean performed by Tegan & Sara

One of my favorite songs by them I love everything that Tegan and Sara has done. But um for the person who also reviewed this song. It is about her missing an ex but it isn't about her miss a him. Tegan and Sara are both lesbians...so I am pretty sure it is about ex girlfriend :)

------ About the song Living Room performed by Tegan & Sara

This is one of my favorite songs by my favorite band. There's just something about it that's different from all of the other songs out there right now and I think it ha something to do with the banjo. Tegan and Sara are orgasmic.

------ About the song Where Does The Good Go? performed by Tegan & Sara

There was One Tree Hill. Season 1, "Don't Confess" was the featured track. This song, I've heard it play all the time, but it was only until 3 days ago that it hit home. Great song, great voices.

And where you heard about T&S doesn't make, it's good music that makes good music, and all that matters is that you've heard it.

yellow demo is by far the best album of theirs. it's magical. it transcends any barriers of sound and emotions giving you the pure state of maddened love that it's impossible not to surrender to. pleasure to my mind, heart and soul.

------ About the song Alligator performed by Tegan & Sara

This song is fantastic!! I first listened to it and was shocked because it was so different then what I was use to from T & S. But let's just say Sainthood grew on me rather quickly! I truly think the music video didn't do this song justice! There's just something so special and so real about this song. Good Work!!!

------ About the song Speak Slow performed by Tegan & Sara

I love Tegan and Sara. And even though I go through cycles of which songs I like best at the time, which album I'm listening to over and over again, I have to say that this song is (and will always be) one of my favorites. Catchy and cute. :)

------ About the song The Con performed by Tegan & Sara

maybe im taking a perception too literal to the lyrics, but to me it seems as though she became emotionally/mentally unstable after a relationship and had to be institutionalized. this would explain the writing of letters (or in general) to pass the time, and also going to a probably mandatory therapist, toward whom she is skeptical but shes not enitirely closed off to the idea, and for once doing as she is told. when she is finally discharged, she calls that person only to let them know that shes home and getting herself together, which is most likely not true. additionally, when a person misbehaves, they may need to be encircled by people to hold them down and give them a needle.

*yes i may have done this out of boredom..

I <3 tegan and sara!!! theyre AMAZIIIIING~!

It reminds you that even the invincible attitude of your teenage years and early 20's, no matter how strong they are, are just learning experiences. (c)

golden words

I'll take them as an axiom for my present harsh break-up.

Thank you. And the song is awesome no doubt.
