Tears Of The Saints Lyrics
Performed by LeelandReview The Song (56)
There are many prodigal sons
On our city streets they run
Searching for shelter
There are homes broken down
People's hopes have fallen to the ground
From failures
This is an emergency!
There are tears from the saints
For the lost and unsaved
We're crying for them come back home
We're crying for them come back home
And all your children will stretch out their hands
And pick up the crippled man
Father, we will lead them home
Father, we will lead them home
There are schools full of hatred
Even churches have forsaken
Love and mercy
May we see this generation
In it's state of desperation
For Your glory
This is an emergency!
Sinner, reach out your hands!
Children in Christ you stand!
Sinner, reach out your hands!
Children in Christ you stand!
And all Your children will stretch out their hands
And pick up the crippled man
Father, we will lead them home
Father, we will lead them home

I Will Make A Difference | Reviewer: Anonymous | 1/1/12
This song brought me to tears, thinking of all the homeless and less fortunate, the lost and unsaved. Now I have this desire to help people, to make a difference in someone's life and in the world. I want to make my time here count and have purpose.
Leeland definitely has a gift.

"There are tears from the saints
For the lost and unsaved... Father, we will lead them home" This seems a bit heretical. Get C.H. Spurgeon's Morning and Evening devotional delivered to your mailbox every morning.

This song makes me cry... My brother, he thinks because of his past, that God doesn't care about him... On his facebook, he's listed as an agnostic... It makes me cry... Just to see how blinded he is... And how many other people are also blinded... There was one day, I was burdened by this, I just kneeled by my bed and cried, cried and prayed for him... Please pray for him...

Lately, I've been WAY into this song. And I'm not a big Leeland fan. But these lyrics are just too good. Leeland, great song.

Wow....I heard Leeland was coming to my town, so I put all the songs I had of theirs on my iPod, and this was one.....wow. It's my new favorite song, and it gets stuck in my head more often than any Miley or JoBros song ever will, and still applies to my life. Music makes an impact, thank you, Leeland!

"tears of the saints" is a timely song,it speaks truth, truth about what this generation is for, truth for what we're made for:to manifest God's glory.. It's time guys,am in Zambia,Africa but wherever we are,we're the body of Christ.so lets be those hands and feet.our lives are not our own, they're bought with a precious price:the sacrifice of Calvary, and believe me,the world is hungry to know about this,no matter what..

This is my favourite song. I got it while I was getting songs from the ONE campaign on itunes but once my trial was finished I just had to buy it. It stirs up emotions every time I listen. My life is music, I couldn't live without it, or God's love. And this song gives both of those things

I am not religious in the least bit. I found this song while I was watching a YouTube video of someone disassembling a train horn of all places. I HAD to Google the song to find the name and lyrics. This song hits close to home and brought a tear to my eye. I may have found my 2010 song already

I just uploaded the "WOW Hits 2008" cd onto my iPod. I felt like I should listen to whatever came on, so I hit the "Shuffle" button and "Tears of the Saints" was the first song that played. I don't always listen to all the songs on my iPod, but for some reason I listened to the lyrics for the song. I just kind of sat there for a while, tears running down my face, as I listened. This is now my favorite song, and I listen to it as much as I can. I may be only 14, but music speaks to me and is a huge part of my life.
PLEASE GO VISIT www.therebelution.com BECAUSE ALEX AND BRETT HARRIS ARE AWESOME LIKE THAT. And the book "Do Hard Things" reminds me so much of this song.....

AMAZING SONG!!! | Reviewer: Jason | 4/14/09
this song really got to me. i heard it after gaining knowledge that leeland was going to perform at a youth conference i was going to attend so i downloaded a bunch of their songs. it made me realize how corrupt this world really is and how much of a need there is for us to reach. i've been saved for 10 years and i'm 15 and this has to be one of the top 5 motivational songs to tell people about Jesus that i have ever heard.
"Wonderful and uplifting" | Reviewer: Anonymous | 3/31/09
The first time I heard this song it was at a concert with Casting Crowns and I automatically loved it! It was very touching and I have loved it since then. If you really think about the lyrics, you'll realize how wonderful it is and you might start crying.

This is one of my most favorite song. It puts such an emphasis on the need to evangelize and just help those is need and bring back the fallen. The first time I heard this song was at a youth conference I attended. Leeland performed it live and really just made the song so much stronger
