Tangerine Lyrics - Led Zeppelin

Review The Song (5)

Measuring a summer's day,
I only find it slips away to grey,
The hours, they bring me pain.

*Tangerine, Tangerine,
Living reflection from a dream;
I was her love, she was my queen,
And now a thousand years between.

Thinking how it used to be,
Does she still remember times like these?
To think of us again?
And I do.

* Chorus

My absolute favorite song ever. PERIOD. followed by "Free Bird" by Lynyrd Skynyrd and then back to Zepplin for "All of My Love" and "Thank You."

THE greatest band of all times. no question.

So you are Eve or Adan or the serpent or one of the animals there, including God, and you want to get out of the fucking more than pleasurable Eden because even pleasure has a point of departure, a death of itw own. Then, follow my tips and steps: pick up the Golden Fruit, not the apple of the Tree of Knowledge (Bible version), nor the Hesperides that once cause one of the cruelest Wars. Just pick up love, dance and listen Tangerine. The various ecological niches of Rock´n Roll have not produced a better, more delicious Fruit to ripe, sweet and bitter, and thorough and full in your kind of kind-of-already-tragically-wise-and-disappointed mouth. Hope you are in the right kind of mood to fully appreciate it--which means: not-rottenly-westernly-frustated-and-egotististic-so-as-to-miss-the-richness-of-textures!
