I am sorry but Inflames are NOT death metal. They are melodic metal yes, and amazing. This is the song I gave my husband for our wedding. Amazing! The medication by the Haunted is also outstanding. Long live metal Kill the computers!

I thought this song was awesome. other songs i like that are oldish are run to the hills - iron maiden, when the wild wind blows- iron maiden, my curse- killswitch engage, prayer of the refugee- (cant remember band), number of the beast- iron maiden, one- mettalica, through the fire and flames- dragonforce, raining blood- Slayer. you should hear/ download them

To the reviewer of "Growing on me everyday" try listening to their album Colony. IMO Colony is their best work. Great guitar riffs, hard fast drumming, low and high screams (Anders hitting his range) melodic, and just awesome. Everything from In Flames is awesome, but I think Colony is by far their best work.

Im srry, but your plights of justice go unanswered. if people didnt fight over stupid things, we wouldnt have wars, if we didnt have wars, then we would not have been independent, if we weren't independent, we would be sipping stale tea right now. Fighting over something stupid is nature to humans. It's part of the balance. If there were no wars, then the balance would be thrown off. i don't like wars or anything, its just that if we had no wars, we would be screwed.

In case anyone noticed, this conversaition got really stupid. Who cares if you can play guitar hero, wohoo, you can press buttons, even monkeys can do that. OMG! you can play a real guitar, (sarcasm) so...
That is not what matters, nor it is where one heard it, I might have heard it first in GH3, might have heard it elsewhere. Who cares, right! So why am I saying this... because it makes me sick to see people acting like this. Are we animals... (wait) don't answer that one ( we are) The last thing we need is for a bunch of wise asses to get together, and fight useless fights over something nobody really cares about. Grow up peole!

I knew about in flames before GH3, but I think that it's good, people's horizons in music being broadened by any means. It doesn't matter where you first heard it, if you like it, then you're awesome in my opinion.

I have came across this song from time to time since '07 and every time I hear it I can't help but scream the lyrics out loud. The build-up is intense leading into it climax. I never went much further than this song but recently I decided to dig deeper into In Flames past. GH3 had nothing to do with my new found passion for In Flames. I came across a song called "touch of red" which IMO is one of their best tracks, after that I purchased Soundtrack to your Escape then the rest of Come Clarity(amazing album!), reroute to remain, and now A sense of purpose. I havn't stopped listening to them in the past 2 weeks since I got these albums. Such a diverse and complete sounding band! In Flames you have my attention now.

I have to agree with a person who posted before me. I didn't like Death Metal until I got to college my friends were ALWAYS listening to it so I got used to it, and eventually started liking it. But hearing this song on GH helped me to like In Flames, I liked this song and decided to download the rest of the CD.

You guys should just settle down ay. anyone that thinks theyre bad ass is just trying to sound cool. depending on your term of cool. people are aloud to express their interest in guitar hero. its a game you play it, you have fun. i dont exactly see anyone saying im better than you cos i can play guitar hero. if someone is saying that then maybe they should re think a few things. settle down and dont take for granted the great bands we have to play great music for us :)

Let me say this.

I play Guitar Hero 3, pretty decently well. However, I know that I will never compare to any guitarist at all by playing Guitar Hero. Which is why I'm learning electric guitar.

I heard about In Flames from my friends a couple of years ago, but I didn't like them at first, nor any other death metal band, so I didn't listen to them. When I got into college though, its like a switch in my head flipped on and I suddenly started liking death metal bands.

I'm glad I started listening to In Flames, Killswitch Engage, All That Remains, As I Lay Dying, Shadows Fall, At the Gates and such.

Anyways, moving on, Take This Life is a great song. A good song to listen to in any mood.

I will admit I heard of this band off of GH3, and yes, I kick the shit out of this song on expert.

You know what else? I also rock the shit outta this on an actual guitar while bonging beers on stage.

If you can't do both, then don't think your a bad-ass for being able to play it on GH3. However, if you can only play it on actual guitar, than your just a bad-ass anyways.

for thee people under me i agree. i hate people who think they are bad ass cause they know how to press colored buttons. it just pissess me off. and in flames is a wicked song. so dont think your bad ass cause you play with a plastic guitar and press colored buttons
