T.A.T.U. (TATU) Lyrics

A WORD FROM THE GIRLS:

I, Julia Volkova, and I, Elena Katina, admit, that being
under drinking age, we have been persuaded to take part in
the girl-band called Tattoo by band’s future producer Ivan
Shapovalov.

As far as we know, before this band was made, Ivan
Shapovalov never had anything to do with music business. He
used to make TV commercials and do all kinds of advertising
activities.

We (Elena and Julia) used to sing together in a kids-band
called “Neposedi”, and I, Julia Volkova, was asked to leave
the band for More...

------ About the song Clowns (Can You See Me Now?) performed by T.A.T.U. (TATU)

Tatu isn't a lyrical group. It's a dance; the "Can you see me now" lyrics just go thru my head even when im not listening to it, and whenever I do, I feel an amazing beat go through my body.
It's not lyrics; they threw the lyrics because they have great vocals and are very soothing to go with the audio and it fits well. It's more of an epic clubbing/chilling song.

------ About the song Vsya Moya Lyubov' performed by T.A.T.U. (TATU)

This song speaks volumes. It sounds absolutely beautiful in Russian. When I heard the English version it gave no life to the song. Other than that it's my all time favorite next to Zachem Ya.

------ About the song Lyudi-Invalidy performed by T.A.T.U. (TATU)

In responce to Francis R. Hippoton:
When you hear this (btw, I speak a little bit of Russian and translated it from my memory): "люди инвалиды" (lit.= people who are handycapped/invalid/disabled/crippled), what is the first thing you think about? Wheelchairs, casts, mentally retarded people, basically anything that has to do with being disabled, phyically speaking. Yet in t.A.T.u.'s music video we see drugs, sexual acts, smoking, drinking, and addicts to one or more of these objects/actions. I believe the point they are tring to make is that, "This dark side of society excists. These people may look normally, but inside there is an invalid part, an emotionally disabled part that can't be seen in everday life. But only here (mv referance i.e.: nightclubs, gentlemen's/ladies' clubs, bars, alleies, etc.), when their insecurity, pride, and inner beast come to play."

I love this song suuu much~!! But one question...Disabled people? What the...What? I kinda don't understand. Is it meant for someone? Mehhh. As long as the song's awesome it shouldn't matter what's in it. xDD

------ About the song Clowns performed by T.A.T.U. (TATU)

Well, what I hear from this song is that someone has been pretending to be a person they're not. (Can you see me now?) Also, maybe this person has trust issues or maybe jsut found out that they've been lied to (Clowns all around you) and by falling for them, they became a person they're not. (Clowns that only let you know, where you let your senses go.)

not always in english | Reviewer: Anonymous
------ About the song Prostye Dvizheniya performed by T.A.T.U. (TATU)

I like to sing in other languages even though I don't always know the exact meanings of the songs, and hunting for a translation can become tough. But it's so nice to sing and hear other languages sung every now and then. Not everything needs to be in English.

I used to listen to mainly English tatu songs, but now I prefer them singing in Russian. And it lets you concentrate better on the sound when you don't think of the lyrics, and you can even imagine your own version, what you'd like the lyrics to be about.

------ About the song All The Things She Said performed by T.A.T.U. (TATU)

Great song, love the original Russian version as well. Just thought I would mention, they aren't lesbians. The song was written FOR lesbians and ABOUT lesbians, but they have already said back in 2004 that they are not.
