Jack off Jill Surgery Lyrics

Last updated: 09/18/2011 11:00:00 AM

I can change I can cut it open
Look at me the way you did before
I can change
diagnose the symptom
buy the antidote but not the cure

Hold me under
cut away this empty
Hold me under
change the way I feel about you

I can change
I'll correct the defect
repair the injury called you and me
I can change
I'll surrender to it
I can suffer with the best of them

Hold me under
cut away this empty
Hold me under
change the way I feel about you

I can't change
I'll replace the decay
make you second guess your everyday
I can't change
I'll survey the damage
Kill the narcissist with his reflection
until tomorrow

Hold me under
cut away this empty
Hold me under
change the way I feel about you

Hold me under
cut away this empty
Hold me under
change the way I feel about you

until tomorrow

what every sad song should be | Reviewer: Anonymous | 9/17/11

now this is what i mean when i say "id like to hear a sad song" its intense in a way you can feel the persons pain with a great metaphoric description. I loved the message of trying to change for someone but canĀ“t no matter if u r trying.simply strong and sad

Amazing song. I love Jack off Jill, and this is one of my favorite songs by them. Its so dark, and so...sad, for lack of a better word. I cant explain exactly what I mean, because its mostly images in my head that are undescribable to those without direct acess to my brain (nobody). All I realy can say is that its about a girl trying to change herself for someone, but she cant.

Such a good song and wonderful lyrics | Reviewer: Just A Listener | 3/6/08

Well I've been listening to some more Jack Off Jill and found this song. Looked up the lyrics to make sure I'd heard it right (as I do). And guess what? The message leaks out. So does the feeling. This song actually matches me at the moment. Every word. Kinda sad isn't it? =] Though the lyrics are just as beautiful as the rest of Jack Off Jill'w work.
