Beautiful. Axl is the God of rock. Always has been always will. Throw any good band behind him and you have Guns N Roses. Slash is just a guitar while Axl is the lyrics and the voice. This song shows exactly that. Street Of Dreams blows away Sweet Child O Mine, Don't Cry, November Rain ect.

Guns N Roses is Axl Rose. Chinese democracy, is a powerful and emotional album, and "Street of dreams" is a great reminder, of how good Axl is at writing lyrics, and composing music. Love the song, and love the album!

This is by far the best song on the album. Better than "Catcher in the Rye"...better than "Shackler's Revenge...even better than "Better". This song always reminds me of "Breakdown" with its strong Piano part and gripping lyrics...Long live Dizzy and Axl, I guess...
It's not only a high-point on this album, but a high-point for the band itself. Even after losing Slash, Izzy, and Duff, GNR can still crank out great songs. GNR's still on top in the Rock and Roll world (though I'm sure Velvet Revolver will resume their position when they find a new singer)...
