Adam and John Nolan weren't having good chemistry anymore
and John wanted to persue a more piano/vocal driven band.
Another person guitarist from Taking Back Sunday split from
the band also to help create thenew band. With the help of
Michelle (John's sister) and the drummer from Breaking
Pangea they were ready to start Straylight Run.

Because of the previous reputation of taking back sunday,
the band quickly flourished and started creating songs like

He says, "Give it up boy, give it up or your gonna die," Especially on that part.

I think this song is honest, but still cute. Almost like the lyricist is just tired of the particular person, but still loves them. In some weird, quirky way, it's adorable. The single & band are pretty stellar too <3

this song is amazing. there are so many different situations that this song can take you back to, and it's like every time you listen to it you remember something else. this song helped me through a lot... i just remember always thinking "sing like you think no one's listening."
