Stranded Lyrics - Van Morrison

Review The Song (1)

(Van Morrison)

I'm stranded at the edge of the world
It's a world I don't know
Got no where to go
Feels like I'm stranded

And I'm stranded between that ol' devil and the deep blue sea
And nobody's gonna tell me, tell me what, what time it is

Everyday, everyday, it's hustle, hustle time, hustle time
Everyday and every way, one more, one more mountain to climb

It's leaving me stranded
In my own little island
With my eyes open wide
But I'm feeling stranded

Every, every, everyday, it's hustle time
Every way, one more mountain to climb

I'm stranded between the devil and the deep blue sea
There ain't no where else to be, 'cept right here
And I'm stranded

The Fullness of Time... | Reviewer: Anonymous | 5/9/2008

Stranded, as if this condition may be something thats passing, but really its just the nature of humanity, of Life. "And nobodys gonna tell me, tell me what, what time it is" Van has a way of describing the human condition better than any artist I've heard. Its funny, I've been listening to this guy for about 40 years, can't beleive my life has moved sooo fast, but thank God we have been Blessed with this artist to make such a tremendous ongoing contribution, of his heart n Soul on vinyl, makes me smile, has for awhile... Stranded is another gem in a long line of Truths about Life, that he creates for our journey, thru the Fullness of Time. Gotta Love it....
God Bless Him
