As a rule, a lot of bands, after getting together and
saying ‘we should start a band!' there's a big period of
practicing and getting to know each other as musicians.
Stories and Comets didn't follow this rule at all. After
only 6 practices they recorded a 3 track demo CD and got
the ball hurtling toward their goals.

Formed from members of underground post hardcore heroes My
Favourite Co-Pilot & Caught In The Headlights, the line up
of John Hoy-Taylor (bass, vocals), Dan Osborne (drums) &
Phil Maughan (guitar vocals) soon caught the attention of
Deck Cheese records. The band joined the roster in December
