Stillborn Lyrics - Zakk Wylde & Black Label Society

Review The Song (23)

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Blind me
Erase what was
Stillborn, I have become

The feelings I once felt are now dead and gone
I've waited here for you for so very long

So empty
Just a shell of a man
Stillborn, this I understand

The feelings I once felt are now dead and gone
I've waited here for you for so very long

[But], I've waited here for you, so long

[But], I've waited here for you… for you

(guitar solo)

The feelings I once felt are now dead and gone

Pack of retards | Reviewer: Anonymous | 1/13/14

Ozzy is featured in SEVERAL of zakks songs. Just cuz he's not in the video means nothing. This song features ozzy, PERIOD. You all that say otherwise sound like a pack of retards on crack

bls is amazing | Reviewer: metalhead1992 | 12/30/13

Whoever says that Ozzy is in this song has knows nothing its only zakk and the music video is directed by rob zombie.. However people have given praise to zakk that he was able to hit the high notes that Ozzy was able to achieve

wrong | Reviewer: Anonymous | 9/21/12

for those of you who dont know...ozzy is NO where in this song...zakk simply sounds alot like him when he hits high notes...watch the official music video if you have to...hes no where in it. which if he had some part in the song he would also have an appearance in the video....which he does not.

Wow | Reviewer: Anonymous | 7/30/11

This song came out in 2003 I was 9 years old and was brought up on the No More Tears album and every other ozzy thing a nine year old could telll the difference between ozzy and zakk thats sad. And THIS SONG CLEARLY IS LABELED Stillborn Feat. Ozzy Osbourne. How did you miss that?

Yes people, that's Ozzy >< | Reviewer: Anonymous | 7/8/10

Go and check the Black Label Society website, it lists Ozzy as guest vocals on Stillborn. He sings in the chorus, and possibly the "Aaah..." at the beginning. His and Zakk's voices are definately similar but Zakk sings lower.

Cool song | Reviewer: BLS Citizen | 1/13/10

It is an awesome song. Hey TheTriforceKid, I was thinking the same thing. I think the band was Stabbing Westward back in the 90s. I can't remember the name of the song but I remember seeing them live when they were starting to get popular.

It's Zakk ~AND~ Ozzy, you idiots. | Reviewer: TheTriforceKid | 9/16/09

Nobody but nobody sounds like Ozzy Osbourne, and if you can't dstinguish his voice from Zakk's, then you haven't been listening long enough.

They collaborated on this song. Ozzy is the one screaming at the beginning, and helps with the chorus.

ANyway, this song just rocks, plain and simple. Zakk Wylde and Ozzy go together like Peanut butter and jelly, Ice cream and cake, pot and booze!

ANyway, for some reason the starting riff reminds me of another song by another band. Ic an't place my finger on it, but it was an alternative band real popular in the 90's.

And there is depth to this song. It's most likely about waiting for a person and loving them so much it hurts, but as time goes on and the loved one never returns, the feelings grow stale and eventually die as time goes on.

IT IS NOT OZZY | Reviewer: Frank | 9/14/09

Ozzy can only be heard when he screams. Still born is performed by Zakk Wylde, not ozzy. Any time you hear ozzy it's very distinct. I know, I been listening to ozzy pantera and other bands since the 70's. Get your vocalists right anonomous.

Good song.

amazing song | Reviewer: DMAN1528 | 9/10/09

its a great song great riff and solo and singing. i can relate to the lyrics a lot. Rob Zombie did the music video."Stillborn" tells the story of a man whose girlfriend treats him so poorly and takes so much advantage of him that his love for her dies, leaving him feeling dead as well. and mr.(Anonymous) its ozzy on backing vocals. zakk sings lead vocals and rote the song you idiot. if your going to try and criticize people please at least get your facts straight.

other reviewers should get out more | Reviewer: not_a_tard | 8/28/09

ive never seen a bigger bunch of kisass reviews in my life this is a great song but the lyrics are no deeper than a puddle. the music is great but hardly describes my life. other reviewers should listen to octane on sirius

the best dude | Reviewer: eduardo | 8/12/09

i went to his concert over here on boston .. he is the fucking best, he came down to the crowd at the end of the concert and the whole band, and start shaking hands and hugging was a great moment. he perform real good !!!!

It *IS* Ozzy | Reviewer: Anonymous | 7/12/09

Hey idiots, it *IS* Ozzy on vocals, perhaps you should buy the CD, or at least get your mp3s from people who give a shit enough about the music to ID3 tag their files properly? It's a great disrespect to the music to not credit the artists, especially when you're ripping and sharing online - it's not like you're paying the artists, the least you could do is credit the right ones!

Damn. | Reviewer: Doc Dallas | 2/7/09

This song is AMAZING. In fact, if I had a way to get a hold of Zakk, I'd ask him if I could sample this for a song of my own... Don't get anything twisted BTW, I may be a hip-hop kid, but I love ALL kinds of music, and I LOVE this song. Describes a lot of things in my life.

Stillborn | Reviewer: Muzik_Man_ | 11/5/08

This song describes my entire life in everyway aspect of it. It came from freakin no where. Zakk's voice makes you want to punch the world in balls.
It almost beats Ozzy himself.
I burnt a CD with this song on it 20 times.
Its played constantly for a week, but its like the
song says something new every time its heard.
I play guitar professionally and I can't come close to his sound.

wow... | Reviewer: tom | 8/16/08

Zakk Wylde outdid himself with this song
just an amazing song
could listen to it all day everyday and not get tired of hearing it
right from the start with the wails and the guitar you can just tell it's an amazing song and it doesn't disappoint at all! top marks! haha
