When I first heard this song, I interpreted it as more of a Love song. Like soldiering through a relationship song. Love is a battle field and the soldier is making his way through it.

But interpret it how you will, anti war still fits fine. Good song :)

What is with everyone on this site publishing all this stuff slamming other reviews into the wall? Jeeze people, it's a song, listen to it and enjoy it or not. Everyone has different likes and dislikes. I personally like the song, I don't see it as a war song at all, but I don't know it's history, and, quite frakely, I don't care to. I see the lyrics as saying something to not listening to the world and following your own path. That is all. For the review that told others to commit suicide, you just talked about the war causing the loss of life; and you're telling people to off themselves! IT'S A SONG PEOPLE! If you don't like it, don't listen to it.

White walls is such a great song and its riffs are melodic but at the same time speedy and the bass goes along with the melody real well to.. allot of bands today have bass lines that dont even really mix with the song to well..but still remains is the only band i think could pull it off and make it as amazing as it is.. still remains is from my home town of grand rapids, michigan and its a really awesome head rush whenever i hear them because u never know when u might run into one of the member s in the grocerie store... well anyway still remains is a 100 on a scale of 1 - 10 .. the fuckin greatest .. later
