What I love about this song, and most of Bowie's "love songs," is how he never puts any characteristics on the individual he is seducing. Because of that, he could be talking to anybody and I don't feel excluded. It makes for a more effective "I want to get in your pants" love song. Also, he is David Bowie and he's already quite sexy as it is :)

one of the funkiest of bowie's songs next to "fascination" from his Young Americans album. The lyrics are perfect, a great transition from Young Americans (the funky disco vibe) to his art-rcok/experimental years in the Berling Trilogy (the very deep, fresh songwriting)

This song is sooo great! (The lyrics are the best of it...) He must write more like this... you know. With lyrics that truly ARE about... oh you know... *that*. Bowie is great! I want him to do Cracked Actor with me... oh yeessss!

Wonderful funk riff to this one with Bowie's pleading voice smeared over the top, a great album and one of the most underated of his whole discograhpy.
A must for all Bowie fans.
