In the 8 years we have been together we have been through a lot which could have sent us down diferent paths, but we've stayed together through it all. I Love this song, it's not just about lovers, but it could extend to other relationships. My brother used it as a tribute at our Mom's funeral. He is the first born and only son for my Mom and shortly after my Dad died, she moved in with him, his wife and daughter and he took excellent care of her. His devotion to our Mom when our family of six children went into different directions after Dad's death and the reading of the will, this song could'nt have said it any better. He stayed with her when everyone else left. BEAUTIFUL song John Legend.

I really like this song. It doesn't talk about over the top forever love that I don't think exsists. This song is about what it takes to really make it. Just sticking around to work things out is half the battle and the commitment to stay. People fall in love too soon and then realize too late that is was the idea of love not true love.
