Starsailor Lyrics

After the hype, it's time for the delivery. Starsailor
might have started the year as one of the most talked about
new groups in the country, but they've handled the
pressures admirably - and in the last few months their raw
and emotionally confrontational music has begun to strike a
chord on a far wider scale.

Already this year they've enjoyed two Top 20 hits (with a
demo-version of 'Fever' and the epic 'Good Souls'), been on
Top Of The Pops, played their first British headline tour,
been invited to play with the Manic Street More...

Impressively Emotional & Amazing Song | Reviewer: Hunter H.
------ About the song Way To Fall performed by Starsailor

Being a Metal Gear Solid newcomer, I saw online your best choice from the series to start on was MGS3.

When I beat the game, I was tearing up. I was convinced this series deserved it's critical acclaim.

But the music at the end of the game was unlike any other game I've played. It was moving, emotional, and touching, plus it fitted the game impressively.

If your looking for a calm, peaceful, emotional & touching song, no better place to find one than "Way to Fall".

I totally agree with those emphasizing the nostalgic sadness that this song put you into. with the need to listen it over and over again.

Ending to Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Outstanding track by a talented group. Fit the ending perfectly. The Snake Eater ending, because of this track, is on par with the Metal Gear Solid ending, "The Best Is Yet To Come", and MGS4's "Old Snake" ending. Very emotional and moving.

------ About the song Four To The Floor performed by Starsailor

It's really weird. But I've just heard this song again after like... A long time, and I still love it. I can listen to it over and over again, even though I listen to the Thin White Duke's remix. It makes me feel weird, and just like everyone else says, not happy or good at all. But it's still a wonderfull song..

Fantastic track from an awesome game | Reviewer: AndyW

LOVE this song. Good times. I just wish I could find the lyrics for the counterpoint sung toward the end, sounds a bit like 'Oh my knees go, please don't let go, I'm not coming back', and so on. You guys know what bit I mean! But I am 99%certain there's no line there about knees really! Anyone know the REAL words?

Highway | Reviewer: TheAgent
------ About the song Four To The Floor performed by Starsailor

It makes you wonder; you are not the only one going through something so sad and so specific as this song describes.

Oddly this song makes my mind visualize a fast car driving in a highway in a desert, with camera taking a 'heli-shot' from above.
This is definitely something you must listen to when driving in a highway.

I agree with other posters on this one. This song is weird, in the sense it has a capability to be extremely nostalgic. I think it's the twisted sounding noise in the background that works wonders for track. Definitely not a feel good song, yet it has the ability to make you want to hear it over and over.. extremely odd. Whenever I hear this song, I just want to grab a guy I'm attracted to and just go for it. Heard it six years ago and it still sticks with me. Always will. Love this song and everything it makes me feel.

FALL to the floor | Reviewer: Anonymous
------ About the song Four To The Floor performed by Starsailor

I heard this song for the first time when I was in Florence, Italy, some years ago. I used to think they sayd FALL to the floor! Whenever I listen to it now, it reminds me of those days spent in the company of somebody who "did not understand the plight of THIS common man" and walked out on me.

Emotionally Stirring | Reviewer: Valamphias
------ About the song Way To Fall performed by Starsailor

I must admit: like many of the other reviewers of this song, I first heard it at the ending of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.

However, even without the symbolic meaning it has for both the relationship between both The Boss and Big Boss and the relationship between Big Boss and Solid Snake, the song is powerful. It's power comes from the sincerity of the lyrics. It comes from the gentle melody that accompanies those lyrics. It comes from the voice that sings those lyrics. It comes from the entirety of the three as they come together into a very beautiful and very sobering song.

If you can, obtain this song, or at least stream it from a website. I'm sure has it, if you can't find it anywhere else.

The only song that makes my eyes water. It doesnt need to makeme have an emotional breakdown fer you to feel it-and thats soething special.
If you think about th crap Big Boss has to go thru with his two sons(solid and liquid) it makes alotta sense.
