i love the song the meaning of it is to me is david bowie saying that like if you dont have a friend or family im here you may not see me but im here 4 u. because even in the song he says ''hed like 2 come and meet us but he thinks hed blow our minds''. thats what the song says to me.great song though!bowie rules!

Hi. Just picked this song up a couple of months ago when buying a "Best of ...". It's phantastic! Listen to it a couple of times every day these weeks.
Makes me feel good, makes me smile,

I love this song. Billie, I feel very much the same. . . a shiny David Bowie would be Starman. . . But I don't think I've worded that right. . . You get the idea though. Anyhow, it is an awesome song. I just wish that David Bowie would've stayed Ziggy Stardust for a few more years. . .

This song is dreamy. I love the image of listening to some song on the radio, not really paying it much attention, and then realising that it came from much further away than we ever thought was possible...maybe i'm just a pretentious twat. Haha. I'd like a Starman as a God figure. The only thing is, I just imagine the Starman as DB himself, but shinier. Does anyone else feel this?
