Stare Too Long Lyrics
Artist(Band):Corrosion of Conformity
Oh lord I must be crazy, Settled down and I find nothing new..
Older days, they used to matter but I don't care
Cause I got nothin' to lose
And if I stare too long, I might not see you right
Over time, the heart goes out of sight
And if I stare too long, I might not see you right
Close the door. Where the heart is out of sight
Many a dreams across the river
But it's too strong for a boy like me, yeah....
Now you're gone but I still remember
Better days as they wash into the sea
And if I stare too long, I might not see you right
Over time, the heart goes out of sight
And if I stare too long, I might not see you right
Close the door. Where the heart is out of sight
I've got the time but I got no reason
I'm broken down, waiting patiently
Now the sun don't shine for me and that's a different season
but she comes around one more time for me...
And if I stare too long, I think I might go blind
Over time the heart goes out of sight
And if I live too long, I might not treat you right
Close the door....Now you're shining way too bright...
Shine on......

Review about Stare Too Long
THAT IS C-O-C COCK! | Reviewer: Clay Rains | 1/1/2008Corossion of Conformity is so cock. They are the C.O.C. of the Walk. This is what Lynyrd Skynyrd should sound like. Everyone thinks of "Skynyrd" as the embodiment of southern rock; they were until C.O.C. came around. I used to be a disc jockey at KAAN, a small town station in northwest Missouri. We had one of those god-awful strictly Top-40 formats. The "music director" at KAAN, who subsequently weaselled his way into that position by taking it from me through fraud, used to try to tell me what to play. I played what ever the hell I wanted though, and this was one of them. Who would have imagined a heavy rock band, with a heavier sound than Black Sabbath, could have a couple of songs that could be played on a mainstream country station... much less, a station in small town that mostly old people listen to. I DID IMAGINE IT. I knew people would like it. I always got comments on how much they liked the different music they were hearing, like western swing, bluegrass, southern rock, Americana. Too bad someone, who can't hear the difference between a steel guitar solo (you know, they play it with a slide) and a regular electric guitar solo, lied to the boss and talked him into replacing me with themself. But I digress... Yep, it's a cock song.
southern and beautiful | Reviewer: Rebel_Extravaganza | 9/13/2007
This is pure southern and Warren Haynes does a great job on the guitar. Great song of a great band!
