omg! the first time i heard this song (about a week ago) i was like "woah! this is nothing like the songs done by RHCP, that i have listened to!!!". i mean, it just reminds me of my luv for sum1 that i have a crush on (hehe....he likes me too!).it's just....idk what it is! thats how great it is! i just don't have anymor words 4 it!!! I JUST FRICKIN' LUV THIS SONG!!!

The bass line is probaly the easyist bass lines but the most fun 2 learn. 4 some odd reason I like 2 listen 2 this song @ night. The 1st time I heard this I was like "woah. Good jod Anthony." Ever since then I've loved this song. Yh some of the lyrics don't make sense, but wat it's about does.

The first time I heard this song I knew instantly what it was about. I checked the lyrics and sure enough, I was correct. I think it's very kewl that Anthony was able to put into words and music what turns out to be the ONLY experience that will ever matter to him and do it in such an unassuming way. In fact, any Orthodox Christian would recognise what he's doing...The bells are from the bell towers of an Orthodox Church, the smoke around the perfect face is the censing Christ's icon during an Orthodox service, the forest room is a monastic cell, and it's there that he evidently asks forgiveness of the list of iniquities that he belts out.
In fact, Johnny's chorus sounds alot like what you would hear from a Russian Orthodox choir.
I have a brand new respect for Anthony and very happy for him too.

earlier this year when the chilis came to oz i went to their concert and it was during this song where one of chad's drumsticks flew my way and i caught it. i was in such an incredible state of euphoria i looked up to the ceiling of the stadium with teary eyes and everything turned into stars. this is definately one of my favourites.
