------ About the song Ungod performed by Stabbing Westward
The best song from Stabbing Westward's debut album ' Ungod ' with it's intense atmosphere, and simple but nonetheless awesome chorus.
From the lyrics, I personally think it's describing a kind of spiritual rebirth.
Strong and dramatic | Reviewer: MrP
------ About the song Waking Up Beside You performed by Stabbing Westward
I love the way the song builds up from a sad astonishment to a cry of sadness and confusion, yet the tone never becomes acrimonious.
The feeling of abandonment is something a lot of people have felt and I think this song describes it in a very strong and dramatic way.

There's an acoustic version where he explains it's about a girl he dated during a tour and she dumped him for her personal trainer (the way it's being told is very amusing).
Also it's a great version, acoustic and piano driven.
