The story of Squirtgun began in the fall of 1993. Punk rock
producer and bassist extraordinaire Mass Giorgini decided
to form a new band around the remains of his previous band,
Rattail Grenadier. Two more former Rattail members were
recruited, Mass' brother guitarist Flav Giorgini and
drummer Dan Lumley. The picture was completed with longtime
friend singer/guitarist Matt Hart, formerly of Freaks of
Nature. In the spring of 1995, the band recorded their
debut EP "Shenanigans" for Lookout! Records. The debut
full-length "Squirtgun" was released in the Fall of 1995. A
song from this album, "Social", was featured in the movie
