They attracted the attention of Roadrunner Records, and released their debut album, Strictly Diesel, a year and a half later. The band immediately hit the road, playing to enthusiastic audiences night after night with bands like System of a Down, Fear Factory and Static-X. I first seen Spineshank in 1998 at the Alrosa Villa lounge in Columbus, Ohio. We left school that day to go see System of a Down, Spineshank, & Fear Factory. I was impressed at the detuned low end tech sounds and how close it sounded to the album. A fantastic song, a fantastic band that I wish were still together. Some of the songs are ridiculous, but most of Spineshank is in your face abrasive and will make you want to beat the shit out of someone. I LOVE IT! 40 Below is the finest track.
