South Of Heaven Lyrics - Slayer

Review The Song (6)

[Lyrics: Araya; Music: Hanneman]

An unforseen future nestled somewhere in time.
Unsuspecting victims no warnings, no signs.
Judgment day the second coming arrives.
Before you see the light you must die.

Forgotten children, conform a new faith,
Avidity and lust controlled by hate.
(The) Never ending search for your shattered sanity,
Souls of Damnation in their own reality.

Chaos rampant,
An age of distrust.
Confrontations.
Impulsive habitat.

Bastard sons begat your cunting daughters,
Promiscuous mothers with your incestuous fathers.
Engreat souls condemned for all eternity,
Obtained by immoral observance a domineering deity.

Chaos rampant,
An age of distrust.
Confrontations.
Impulsive sabbath.

On and on, south of heaven [x 4]

[LEAD: KING]

The root of all evil is the heart of a black soul.
A force that has lived all eternity.
The never ending search for a truth never told.
The loss of all hope and your dignity.

Chaos rampant,
An age of distrust.
Confrontations.
Impulsive habitat.

On and on, south of heaven [x 4]

[LEAD: HANNEMAN]

Ok whoever said that this song is remixed is a f-ing moron. And Its REIN IN BLOOD NOT REIGNING BLOOD. That right there shows your not a Slayer fan. So why don't you go listen to your stupid as hell Metalcore, Deathcore and Djent and we'll go listen to good metal

BIG FOUR FOREVER!!! and add Iron Maiden to the group

Great song | Reviewer: Kerry King | 6/15/11

This is a great song when it comes to the lyrics and the sound, i know how to play this song and if you are a musician then you really appreciate all of slayers music. Oh by the way for the retard that thinks their stuff is all the same, the album is call Reign in Blood, not reigning blood.... thats not even the name of the song, its raining blood... get your facts straight before you start whinning about an amazing band. When it comes to metal, theres not much that hasnt already been done, so you will get songs that sound the same and when it comes to a particular band then yes their songs will sound similar because the same people wrote them. Its common sense man. I'm in a metal band so i know exactly how this feels so try actually listenning to their stuff for a while and appreciate it instead of bashing it because its a lot better than anything you could ever make.

to each their own. | Reviewer: Renee Brown | 1/1/10

I don't know who decided that Slayers music is remix or rehashed or whatever but for the most part the similarities are obviously the devil as well as head banging. The lyrics are demented as hell but the music rocks.

...dumbass | Reviewer: fucknewmetal | 5/8/09

anyone who thinks slayer songs are the same or remixed is obviously a fucking idiot that doesnt know shit about music.

and any stupid shit that says that after naming reign in blood and south of heaven is deaf because their very different and very good albums

if slayer isnt good enough for you then go listen to As i lay crying or stupid ass music like that

fuckin pussies

same old | Reviewer: Paul | 1/27/08

I disagree Slayer South of heaven was one of the first metal albums I owned along with Voivod Dimension Hatross. you either like it or you don't. To be honest though having got Hell Awaits, Seasons in the Abyss, Reigning blood too I think alot of their stuff is simply rehashed remixed..you only need to own reigning blood and Seasons in the abyss to hear all the slayer songs in my opinion.

Always COOL | Reviewer: Eamon Russell | 6/14/07

this is off the first slayer album i got. i had already heard angel of death and raining blood so i was fairly excited to hear some more slayer. this album was supposed to be a bit slower but it does'nt fail to deliver. South of Heaven is one best songs on the album. the lyrics are brilliant and the contrast between the heavy and soft riffs fits in perfectly. it is not for people who are new to metal. if you are new to metal try some softer material from differant bands and move your way up.

p.s. SLAYER RULE!!!
