For Tolina, there were two versions of this jingle used in commercials, so you and your boyfriend were both right. One version mentioned "Peter Paul", the other didn't. I believe the change may have occured in 1988 when Hersey bought the Peter Paul brand.

My boyfriend and I had a bet, along with his best friend and wife, that through all of the lyrics, my boyfriend stated that the lyrics included;
peter paul almond joys got nuts mounds don't, whereas I argued (the girls), that Peter Paul is not mentioned at all, well as it goes, it was a tie of argumental bet to be not only proven by my son to verify it but I found it on the website page, that Peter Paul is mentioned in the jingle, so let me have the whole lyrics to get it out of my head...thanks. I paid him the most modest apology, cause usually, I'M ALWAYS RIGHT.not this time.
