Review The Song (72)Print the Lyrics
Burning fires burning lives on the long distant roads
Through the lost mountains endless so far away from home

Crossing battles savage seas towards the mountains high
Forest plains of wilderness we're striking out tonight
On towards our destiny we travel far and wide
Journey through the darkness as your hearts refuse to die

In the flames of hell we fire at will the fires of doom has come
With the forces of the blackest knights there're staring at the sun
Far across the distant plains of ice we're searching for the sword
When the time has come for battle now we follow with the horde

We will ride with fire burning hot towards the night sky
In the land of long ago forever in our souls
Fly on wings of shining steel are burning so bright
In ancient lands of warriors we're riding on again

Burning fires burning lives on the long distant roads
Through the lost mountains endless so far away from home
warrior soldiers forever we fought long ago
We're all lost in the darkness so far away from home

Fallen soldiers taste the steel of death the daylight dawning
Sun will shine upon the lives of burning hearts of ice
As you break through the boundaries of life this feeling of despair
And they die in their sleep for the world that will not care
You feel lost in this labyrinth of pain this sickening dismay
There's a voice inside that's calling another wasted day

Can't you see the history the suffocating madness
In the land of fallen souls there's nowhere left no place to go
I have traveled far and wide across this wasteland
Still searching for the answers for the right to understand

Burning fires burning lives on the long distant roads
Through the lost mountains endless so far away from home
Warrior soldiers forever we fought long ago
We're all lost in the darkness so far away from home

Riding through starlight and smashing the boundaries as hellfire falls from the sky
A shadow of pain will arise from the ashes of those fallen ones who have died
Our only master with fire and fury of hell will see his bidding done
Blasting from high as the battle unfolds to the gates of the city we come

We will ride with fire burning hot towards the night sky
In the land of long ago forever in our souls
Fly on wings of shining steel are burning so bright
In ancient lands of warriors we're riding on again

Burning fires burning lives on the long distant roads
Through the lost mountains endless so far away from home
Warrior soldiers forever we fought long ago
We're all lost in the darkness so far away from home

Review about Soldiers of the Wasteland

Wow | Reviewer: Dick H. Ed | 12/8/09

All I have to say is wow. 1. Don't post just to bash reviewers of songs. 2. Afghanistan is one of the most politically unstable countries in the world. We gotta' think about it. And my typing skills are horrendous? You can't even spell the word, yet alone capitalize a letter. 3. I come here so much so that I can mindfully analyze the faults of this musical piece. 4. Regardless of my capabilities when it comes to song reviewing, you sir, are obviously a mental retard. I hope your best friend leads you out into a field and shoots you in the back of the head(If you get the allusion to literature, kudos to you). And Bob, go to www.dictionary.com and search for the definition of the world terrorist. You should at least check that you know what you're talking about before making yourself look stupid.

stupid asshole | Reviewer: Anonymous | 12/8/09

Darkhub i like what you say. Dick crossed the line. i really hate to listen to that rasist asshole. people in the middle east have a hard time and it isen't all of them how is terroists. only a very few of they is. but intire nations have to pay for i mistake i few braindead terroists have made. and about the song, i love it, the lyrics are great and so is the music. it is to stupid to write your apinion when it is bullshit.

hm | Reviewer: bob | 12/4/09

The americans are the biggest terrorists going more civillians in more countries have been killed by americans than by anyone else, barring genocide, which is different! Case and point the roughly 200,000 people killed (civillians) killed in the nuclear blasts at nagasaki and hiroshima, at least the japanese had the respect and decency to attack a military target and not defencless civvies like the spinless cowards over in america!

Huh? | Reviewer: Dick H. Ed | 11/26/09

Got a problem with my birth name huh? Well that's your problem, I'm not changing it. I suppose, "Chav," is some Afghani slang for, "Saavy," yes? I thank you for the compliment, people do say I am quite trendy. This is the only song of Dragonforce I dislike, mind you. It brings out who they truly are: Terrorists. I'm sorry that you don't share my concern about that. Oh and by the way, in America, our buses actually move, not like those broken pieces of crap Afghanis live in 12 to a seat.

Go Die | Reviewer: DarkleSSV | 11/23/09

Look, retard who thinks his name is funny(Which it isn't) why dont you go drown in a hole cos its prety retarded that u are lookin up lyrics to a song u dont like. u is probably some retard chav who's idea of good music is some other retard chav pushing buttons on a sound board and calling it music. if u dont like the song then stop typing ur crap and leve the blogs for those who actualy want to talk about the song and not spew some shit about crap people dont care about so do us all a favour and run into a stationary bus.

What? | Reviewer: Dick H. Ed | 11/21/09

How about you learn to read and write in English. I know you're just an Afghani commoner, trying to protect another terrorist, but you could at least try. Are you really so poor you can't afford english lessons? Oh, I forgot, you're too busy planning to blow stuff up. This song is poorly written, and has a sublimimal message that chills me to the bone: What if they were to blow themselves up during the finale of a rock concert?

awesomeness | Reviewer: Anonymous | 11/13/09

this song is one of my personal favorites. the reviewer who reviewed before me can go to hell. if u hate the sing so much then dont listen to it and leave us all the hell alone. i hope he realizes that his forst name describes him perfectly. he should learn to insult someone correctly before u try it. "'And in one part I swore I heard, "On towards Afghanistan, we travel far and wide."'" how about u listen to the freaking lyrics before u judge the song.
this song has awesome lyrics and was done just about perfectly musically. its deffinitly one of their calmer peices, wich i like. 9/10

Hello | Reviewer: Dick H. Ed | 11/7/09

I think this song sucks kitten-cock. And you know that's bad, because kittens have very small cocks. That guitar player Herman Li has a fetish for kitten cocks, by the way. He has a collection of cats in his home that he rapes anally regularly. I don't reccomend buying this song. It's about a bunch of guys who are talking about how badly it sucks to have to walk on this road that's on fire, then they go into the mountains and they think the mountains are really cool. I think it's talking about Afghanistan, because it's like that, with firey roads and mountains and stuff. And then there's a part about a city, I think they're stopping for a rest so it's why the guitar solo thing is right after. They get rested up and play guitar, kind of like when pokemen go to the p0okemon center to get their health back. And in one part I swore I heard, "On towards Afghanistan, we travel far and wide." Wanna know what I think? This song is about Dragonforce going across flaming roads and up cool mountains to deliver a note to Osama bin Laden. Terrorists, all of them.

Best band ever | Reviewer: DarkleSSV | 10/22/09
