This song remind me of one of my lovers, even though it seems so weird. I love him so much, but my actions always fail to please him. I love this song because it reminds me of him. This song breaks my heart every time I hear it. I highly prefer the simplicity of this song to the dressed up songs on later albums. The simplicity really highlights Amy's truly amazing voice.

This song is so amazing. I am not a fan of Evanescence. But, this song isn't like their others. So much emotion in it, Amy's voice is brilliant with the music. The lyrics blend well within the whole song. Best piece of art, I've heard all year. I don't think any of her other songs can compare to this one. No way.

I have been an Evanescence fan for quite a long time, and So Close is just uncomparable to the rest of their songs. I know I get fed up of people going on about Amy etc, but her voice is exceptional in this song, and it's strange thinking Amy was barely 17 when it was recorded. Simple but affective.

ive been listening to Ev for A LONG TIME, trust me, IM OBSESSED and this song just cant compare to the other pieces they have written. Its nice but not really as great as i would hear form their other songs. This song just a bit too simple for all the other pieces they have written and yea. just my opinion.
