hahaha... al asked for kurts permission first b4 he made this video and kurt approved. the first video i saw of al was michael jackson parody and it was funny. now i get to see another fave band of mine parodied by weird al, NIRVANA. yeay! the guy is funny.

So I love this song. I'm probably one of the biggest Nirvana fans out there, but this is really funny. Now my bassist on the other hand can't stand Nirvana. He hates them in every way. I asked him if he wants to learn to play this version instead. Of course he jumped in.

The song is hularious. I like Nirvana but this makes me laugh anyway. Yet, you have to admit that he went insolent with "Well, we don't sound like Madonna, here we are now, we're Nirvana"! And don't tell me he didn't do this to make money - He is older but he never was nor will be as popular as Nirvana!
P. S. Meat eating orchid - flower that mesmerises with it's beauty and then eats you. And, by my opinnion, Kurt didn't write nonscences, he just didn't care if anyone understands him. I don't say that's good thing

I enjoy Nirvana's songs a lot, Teen Spirit included, and i still have to love this parody that mocks out Cobain, as all fans of Nirvana should. The video makes it twice as funny with all the facial expressions and everything. One of my favorite Weird Al parodies.

Im a big nirvana fan and when i heard this song i laughed so much i cried. Even nirvana fans have to laugh at this. My grandpa knew wierd als parents when he lived in fallbrook. Wierd Al deserves a 10 out of 10 he nailed it.

I believe the meaning of the original song, by nirvana was a rather negative comentary by the band of their fans. "Here we are now, entertain us!"
I like Al's parody but he had stayed closer to the theme I mentioned it would have been better. I give it 3.5 stars.....out of 5

I'd like to add, that Weird Al was popular, when band called "Nirvana" didn't even exist. Nirvana was formed in 1988 and Weird Al gave his first TV performance, "Another one rides the bus" in 1980, so please stop giving arguments, that Al tried to make money on Nirvana.

This song was so funny when I heard it. My friend kept telling me to watch the "Smells Like Teen Spirit" video a couple weeks back. I finally decided to watch it. After, I clicked on a link to this music video for the song. I was laughing so hard!
