Review about Slow Burn Old Atreyu | Reviewer: Jake | 10/23/09 I have to agree with Julia on this, I'm still a fan, but I miss the screaming to. Sure I like some of their songs that don't have screaming. For example, 2 really good ones are "Ex's and Oh's" and "Becoming the Bull". Nonetheless I still want the Atreyu who sang songs like "Lip Gloss and Black", Bleeding Mascara", "The Crimson", "Her Portait In Black", "This Flesh a Tomb", and so forth. but all in all their still a good band. uhhh | Reviewer: Madie | 9/6/09 I've listened to atreyu for 7 or 8 yrs now.. they're my favorite band. I still digg their older stuff a hell of a lot more than their new stuff. I think he should have stayed a screamo band, in my personal opinion. I miss his brutalityy, and his voice when he screamed close to the entire album, other than a few amazing melodic catchy stuff scattered on the album.. I could go on and on about Alex's voice, when he screams.. Also Brandon's, when he sings. I do wish they would make another album, at least one more, with new music, generally like their old music.. But whatever, I still love Atreyu.. Atreyu, in my mind, is not atreyu without Alex's ammmmazing scream. I would give anything for another album like their older ones. His scream was euphoric, to me. I could go onnn and onnnn about it.
