Sloppy MeatEaters began their struggle in July 1999.
Josh Chambers, Singer/guitarist wrote and recorded their
first release "Shameless Self Promotion" with Kevin
Highfield pounding out the drums less than 3 months after
they first got together. They released the CD on their own
in December 1999 and within weeks the band had sold the
entire first pressing and struck gold when they met Travis
Gerke. He quickly filled the slot of Bass player and the
band was actually that...a Band!

Finally a big break. Enter Farmclub.com - an
interactive show where the viewer chooses who plays. SME
used their powerful web-based fan following to their
advantage. SME and their loyal fans pulled through and won
